White 8-strand rope

Our white 8-strand rope is made from Nylon and is an ideal anchor and mooring rope. It is high strength yet flexible, splices to chain easily and coils neatly.

Breaking strengths (white)

• 10 mm: 2080 kgs
• 12 mm: 3800 kgs
• 14 mm: 4800 kgs
• 16 mm: 5900 kgs
• 18 mm: 6800 kgs
• 20 mm: 8400 kgs
• 24 mm: 12,400 kgs

13% stretch at 20% of breakload.

Coloured 8-strand rope

Our navy and black 8-strand ropes are made from polyester. These ropes are great for mooring lines and are very easy to splice.

Breaking strengths (navy & black)

• 10 mm: 1700 kgs
• 12 mm: 2700 kgs
• 14 mm: 3700 kgs
• 16 mm: 4700 kgs
• 18 mm: 6300 kgs
• 20 mm: 8000 kgs
• 24 mm: 11,000 kgs
